CNC Operator

At AME, we develop and manufacture innovative, high-quality products by combining electronics, mechanics, software, and advanced manufacturing technologies. As a CNC Machinist, you are responsible for producing high-precision components and tooling within our mechanical manufacturing environment. You work with a modern CNC machine park and ensure that parts are machined accurately according to technical drawings, specifications, and required tolerances. What you’ll do Operate and set up CNC machines, including 5-axis simultaneous milling, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), Wire EDM, and precision grinding. Read and interpret technical drawings, including dimensions, shapes, and tolerances. Prepare machines, tools, and programs for production. Check machined parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards. Identify when adjustments or additions to CNC programs are required and discuss these with the CAM programmer. Perform daily maintenance on machines and tools to ensure a safe and reliable working environment. Contribute to continuous improvement of machining processes and ways of working.
