About this role
Benchmark Electronics seeks a System Architect for medical product development who will lead technical direction and inspire engineering teams. You will be responsible for defining system architecture, managing project specifications, and ensuring successful delivery of medical device projects. Key responsibilities include collaborating with business developers on new opportunities, providing technical input for proposals (including standards and certification requirements), leading detailed system design and subsystem decomposition, and overseeing verification and qualification planning. During development, you will work with engineers on specifications, designs, implementations, and subsystem verification.
