About You: ARCO/Murray Engineering is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering Design team based in Downers Grove, Illinois. This role will be responsible for guiding the full mechanical scope and leading the development of mechanical and plumbing systems in support of design/build projects that will range from Entertainment, Controlled Environment Agriculture, Industrial, Commercial, to Manufacturing facilities. If that sounds like the kind of career opportunity you are looking for, come be part of the AME way!     A Day in the Life:  Manage the design process for mechanical and plumbing systems for a variety of building types from controlled agriculture, waste to value, industrial, manufacturing, to large scale commercial Guide and review the design from concept design all the way to turnover and operation Apply knowledge of building codes, standards, and project requirements in the development of mechanical and plumbing systems design Use ASHRAE approved calculation methods to perform load calculations for various project/building types
