Senior Design Engineer Machine Conditioning

About this role
Lead the technical design, analysis, and validation of complex subsystems for high-tech semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will focus on machine conditioning systems including thermal management, vacuum and gas flow control, fluid systems, vibration behavior, and contamination prevention. Work across the full product lifecycle from concept through production implementation, applying advanced engineering methodologies and serving as a technical expert within multidisciplinary teams.
What you'll likely bring
- Design and size subsystems for vacuum, gas distribution, fluid, and thermal management applications
- Conduct advanced analyses including thermal, CFD, dynamic, and tolerance studies
- Apply engineering methodologies such as DfM/DfA, FMEA, DOE, and RCA
- Support integration, validation, and testing activities
- Ensure cleanliness standards, material compatibility, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Coach and mentor engineers; review designs
- Provide technical expertise in machine conditioning, thermal stability, vacuum/gas management, and fluid systems
