Recipe Developer (f/m/x)

The role: What's in the Box We are looking for a creative Recipe Developer to join our dynamic and passionate HelloFresh team in Amsterdam! In this role, you will develop mouthwatering new recipes and enhance existing favorites to delight our customers. Your responsibilities will include crafting dishes that balance specific nutritional guidelines, cost targets, and concept definitions. You will be involved in every stage of the culinary process, from the initial ideation phase to test-cooking and validation. This role requires close collaboration with our Editorial, Ingredient, and Procurement teams to ensure the highest product quality. Please note that this opportunity is a fixed term contract for seven months to cover a maternity leave. What you’ll do: The Recipe Developing new recipes while considering customer preferences, variety, nutritional values, ease of cooking, and seasonality.  Testing the recipes in our kitchen and making sure they are 100% complete before adding them to the recipe pool, ready to be planned on the menu.  Making necessary adjustments to existing recipes, based on weekly customer feedback to continually improve our recipes. Checking all recipes that go into the box; ensuring the ingredient list is filled in correctly, the text is accurate, and the recipe is written simply enough.
