Job Description As the Production Manager , you will be responsible for executing the Youfoodz manufacturing plan across designated production areas. You will provide day-to-day operational leadership to frontline teams and Team Managers, playing a critical tactical role in driving team performance, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and audit readiness within your area of control. Manage labour efficiency KPIs (e.g., labour cost/kg, headcount control) and proactively adjust labour plans in line with volume changes. Drive a culture of audit readiness by ensuring sustained compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, and internal food safety standards. Lead and champion workplace health and safety (WHS), ensuring all activities comply with legislation, site policies, and safe work procedures. Conduct or support incident investigations, ensuring timely reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, including process efficiencies, cost reduction projects, and waste minimisation. Coach, develop, and mentor Team Managers to build leadership capability, safety ownership, and front-line performance.
