About this role
Lead engineer responsible for low and medium voltage electrical infrastructure projects supporting grid reinforcement and energy transition. You oversee the complete project lifecycle from design through commissioning, including developing technical specifications and drawings, coordinating installation work, and conducting testing and safety inspections. You ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations while collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
What you'll likely bring
- Expertise in electrical engineering, specifically low and medium voltage systems
- Experience with cable and conduit installation design and medium voltage substation construction
- Ability to develop technical specifications, designs, drawings, and project schedules
- Experience coordinating and supervising installation activities
- Capability to commission installations and perform voltage and continuity testing
- Knowledge of relevant technical standards and safety regulations
- Ability to conduct risk analyses and safety inspections
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with diverse stakeholders
