Databricks is hiring a Lakebase Sales Specialist to drive adoption of Lakebase, their managed Postgres platform for operational data and AI applications. You will work within the Lakebase Go-To-Market team, partnering with Account Executives to identify opportunities and activate Lakebase within a defined territory. The role focuses on helping customers modernize their data infrastructure by moving from fragmented databases to a unified, serverless Postgres service. You will engage with platform teams, developers, data teams, and IT stakeholders to demonstrate how Lakebase improves speed, simplifies architecture, and reduces costs.
What you'll likely bring
- Ability to identify, qualify, and drive Lakebase activations and consumption within a defined sales territory
- Experience partnering with Account Executives and cross-functional account teams
- Capability to articulate value propositions to multiple personas including platform teams, developers, data teams, and central IT
- Understanding of operational databases and their role in AI and intelligent applications
- Sales experience positioning managed database solutions and driving customer adoption
