Helloprint seeks a Founding AI Engineer to help transform their platform into an AI-first infrastructure for customizable printed products. Based in Rotterdam, you'll work on rebuilding core systems—frontend, pricing, content, and product engines—designed for an agentic future. The role demands someone with a commercial mindset who ships fast and continuously, prioritizing metric impact over perfection. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring deep commitment to scaling a EUR 100M revenue company disrupting a trillion-dollar industry.
What you'll likely bring
- Proven track record of building and shipping products, including side projects and tools
- Commercial instinct and ability to evaluate value before implementation
- Experience shipping continuously and iterating based on metrics rather than perfection
- Willingness to work full-time, on-site in Rotterdam, five days a week
- Ability to work in an always-on, high-intensity environment
- Experience with or openness to AI-first system design and agentic architectures
