About this role
Join M.J. Oomen Riool- en Betontechniek as a skilled tradesperson specializing in underground infrastructure work. You will perform a range of tasks including excavation, sewer connections, test trenching, well construction, and site cleanup on projects for municipalities across the southern Netherlands. Work outdoors daily with a dedicated team on challenging infrastructure projects involving sewers, road surfacing, and foundations.
What you'll likely bring
- Practical experience in civil engineering and construction (GWW) or demonstrated interest in ground, road, and water construction
- Completed vocational training as a GWW tradesperson (preferred)
- Ability to perform manual labor including digging, excavation, and construction tasks
- Attention to quality and detail in work
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Problem-solving orientation and ability to identify and communicate workplace issues
