About this role
Skilled tradesperson role in civil engineering and road construction. You will perform preparatory work before machinery operators begin, including site preparation for road surfaces, earthworks, drainage systems, and embankments. Work is primarily outdoors with significant variety in daily tasks. The role is with KWS, a road construction company, based in Eemshaven.
What you'll likely bring
- Practical experience in civil engineering, road construction, or water management
- Completed training as a skilled tradesperson (vakman GWW) or equivalent, or willingness to pursue this qualification
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Proactive, hands-on approach to work
- VCA basic safety certification preferred (training available if needed)
