About this role
As an experienced site manager at Dura Vermeer Railinfra, you oversee daily execution of complex rail infrastructure projects or multiple smaller projects. You lead a team of skilled workers and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You manage execution teams, coordinate with various disciplines (track, cables, electrical, signaling), maintain quality standards, handle budgeting and resource planning, and communicate with clients and suppliers. Safety oversight and continuous improvement are core responsibilities.
What you'll likely bring
- Proven experience as a site manager or similar leadership role in rail infrastructure or construction
- Ability to manage and coach execution teams and subcontractors
- Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to budget and timeline management
- Knowledge of rail infrastructure disciplines including track, cables, electrical systems, and signaling
- Commitment to safety standards and ability to enforce compliance
- Experience with quality control and continuous improvement processes
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities
- Effective communication with clients, suppliers, and team members
