About this role
Lead Databricks' AI Forward Deployed Engineering team across EMEA, managing a specialized customer-facing group focused on helping enterprises build and deploy generative AI applications. Responsibilities include team leadership and growth, executive relationship management with key EMEA accounts, cross-functional collaboration with product and research teams, and hands-on involvement in complex AI/ML transformation engagements. Report to the Head of EMEA AI FDE.
What you'll likely bring
- Proven experience leading and scaling technical teams
- Track record of building and mentoring data scientists and machine learning engineers
- Executive-level relationship management experience with VP+ and C-suite stakeholders
- Deep expertise in AI/ML and generative AI applications
- Ability to manage complex technical customer engagements
- Cross-functional collaboration skills across product, research, and engineering
- Willingness to travel at least once monthly
- Based in or near a major European office (London, Amsterdam, Paris, or Munich preferred)
