About this role
Databricks is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect for the Retail sector to serve as the primary technical advisor for large enterprise accounts. You will partner with Account Executives to develop and execute technical strategies that drive data-driven transformation and adoption of Databricks' ML and AI solutions. Responsibilities include managing up to 9 client relationships, guiding customers through evaluation and implementation, building internal technical champions, and mentoring team members.
What you'll likely bring
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales or solutions architecture roles with large enterprises (>$1M ARR)
- Background in Retail and CPG industries
- Strong technical foundation with understanding of ML and AI applications
- Expertise in value selling and technical account management
- Ability to lead technical strategy and implementation
- Experience building and mentoring technical teams
- Demonstrated success helping enterprises adopt data-driven approaches
