About this role
Join IMC Trading's Platform Engineering team as a Site Reliability Engineer focused on security. You will embed security into system design and infrastructure across the organization, working as a bridge between application development and production operations. Your work will involve implementing security controls and guardrails into platforms and infrastructure while reducing friction for development teams. You'll collaborate with multiple technology teams, operate with high autonomy, and drive improvements in source control, CI/CD, observability, and secure foundations for trading platforms.
What you'll likely bring
- Experience writing and maintaining code for service extensions, integrations, and improvements
- Ability to develop custom plugins, API integrations, internal tooling, and automation frameworks
- Experience partnering with development and engineering teams on security initiatives
- Capability to provide tooling and guidance aligned with business objectives
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical teams
- Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems
- Ability to operate with high autonomy and take ownership of outcomes
