About this role
Lead mechanical engineering advisor for building systems at Movares. You will design and advise on HVAC, heating, cooling, sanitation, and building control systems for complex building projects from concept through completion. You'll guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical coherence and constructability, and serve as a strategic partner to clients. Work spans utility buildings, stations, and other technically demanding structures. You'll maintain stakeholder relationships and contribute to process improvements within the team.
What you'll likely bring
- Completed HBO or WO degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a mechanical engineering advisor, designer, or engineer in building systems
- Experience with BIM-driven design
- Strong technical expertise combined with leadership and oversight capabilities
- Ability to communicate persuasively and provide direction
- Proven track record mentoring colleagues and advancing the field
