Databricks is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of Unity Catalog's runtime enforcement layer. This role involves building and hardening the systems that ensure secure and consistent authorization and data access controls across Databricks' data and AI governance platform. You will work on infrastructure handling millions of virtual machines and exabytes of data daily, addressing challenges at massive scale including cloud hardware, network, and operating system fault tolerance.
