Senior Process Engineer

As a Senior Process Engineer Electronics, you will help turn breakthrough research in ultra-thin, flexible electronics into real-world manufacturing, at the interface of materials science, process technology and microelectronics. What will you do? You will be responsible for developing, optimizing and integrating production processes for next-generation printed and hybrid electronic devices. You work in a multidisciplinary team and play a leading role in collaborative projects with international industrial partners. Your work contributes to turning advanced research into practical upscaling, manufacturing techniques and processes. Your responsibilities include: Developing and optimizing printing, interconnecting and assembly processes, next to Quality Control procedures, for advanced printed electronics devices. Enabling hybrid integration of printed functionality with conventional components such as chips, piezo material and LEDs, while maintaining device thinness and flexibility. Applying your expertise in materials, processes and device design to solve complex upscaling and manufacturing challenges, including manufacturing infrastructure and/or equipment and tooling design.
