About this role
Flow Traders seeks a Senior Market Risk Manager to provide oversight of market risk across all trading activities in the EMEA region. Reporting to the Market Risk Lead, you will manage the day-to-day execution and improvement of the market risk framework, including limits, monitoring, stress testing, and analytics. The role involves close collaboration with trading desks across ETFs, fixed income, FX, digital assets, and options to understand strategies and exposures, then translate that knowledge into a robust and commercially relevant risk framework. You will monitor portfolio risk, investigate breaches and P&L anomalies, and drive risk mitigation initiatives. This is an individual contributor role focused on specialist expertise rather than people management.
What you'll likely bring
- Experience in market risk management or a related risk discipline
- Understanding of trading strategies and exposures across multiple asset classes (ETFs, fixed income, FX, digital assets, options)
- Ability to develop and oversee risk frameworks including risk appetite, limits, stress testing, and intraday controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for monitoring portfolio risk and investigating anomalies
- Capability to work effectively with trading desks and translate technical risk insights into actionable frameworks
- Experience with risk monitoring tools and analytics
