About this role
Adyen is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build and maintain foundational infrastructure for large-scale on-premise Big Data Platforms. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, backend engineering, and systems engineering, collaborating with data engineers and ML specialists to develop tools and processes that support multiple products, hundreds of developers, and thousands of daily jobs. The role involves operating massive clusters (500+ nodes, 25k+ CPU cores, 240+ TBs RAM, 23+ PBs storage) running tens of thousands of Spark jobs daily.
What you'll likely bring
