About this role
Join Adyen's Data Platform Engineering team to design and maintain foundational infrastructure for large-scale big data systems. You will build tools and processes that support multiple products, hundreds of developers, and thousands of daily jobs across on-premise platforms. Work with data engineers, ML scientists, and DataOps teams to develop and operate massive distributed systems, including clusters with 500+ nodes and petabyte-scale storage capacity. The role spans data engineering, backend engineering, and systems engineering disciplines.
What you'll likely bring
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and big data platforms
- Proficiency in building and maintaining data infrastructure tools
- Familiarity with Spark or similar big data processing frameworks
