About this role
Provide strategic cost advice on complex infrastructure and energy projects at Movares. Develop comprehensive cost estimates and budgets, translate technical designs into financial analyses, and serve as a financial advisor to designers, project managers, and clients. Work within multidisciplinary teams to optimize costs, manage risks, and ensure projects are feasible, affordable, and sustainable.
What you'll likely bring
- Completed technical HBO or WO degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Building Sciences, or equivalent)
- Extensive experience as a cost specialist, cost engineer, or calculator in construction or infrastructure
- Strong analytical skills with ability to manage complex financial and technical problems
- Deep knowledge of cost management practices
- Ability to translate technical designs into cost analyses and provide cost-conscious design advice
- Experience with integral and probabilistic cost estimating
- Strong communication skills to convey financial insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Commitment to knowledge sharing within teams
