About this role
As a Senior Water Quality Advisor at Movares, you will provide expert guidance to government bodies and companies on water quality issues in urban and rural settings. Your work covers topics including physical chemistry, nutrients, ecosystem restoration, ecology, monitoring, and Water Framework Directive compliance. You will handle complex water quality challenges independently and collaboratively, from initial planning through implementation, advising municipalities, water boards, provinces, and national water authorities. You'll develop practical solutions for issues like climate impact on water quality and biodiversity restoration, leveraging Movares' multidisciplinary engineering expertise.
What you'll likely bring
- Strong knowledge of Dutch water quality domain and current developments
- Experience advising on water quality topics such as physical chemistry, nutrients, ecosystem restoration, ecology, and monitoring
- Ability to work both independently and in teams on water quality projects
