Research Engineer Plasma

Location Geleen Experience 1-3 jaar Employment 40 hours per week As a Research Engineer Plasma, you are responsible for the day-to-day operation of advanced plasma systems. You ensure that the installations operate safely, reliably, and consistently throughout extended and repeated experimental campaigns. This includes independently preparing, executing, and supporting experiments, monitoring system performance, and proactively identifying and resolving technical issues that could impact process stability, yield, or data quality. What will be your job like as Research Engineer? As a Research Engineer Plasma, you are responsible for the day-to-day operation of advanced plasma systems. Working closely with scientists and project leaders, you translate research objectives into practical experimental plans and provide technical input to the design and execution of test campaigns. You contribute to process optimization, system tuning, and the continuous improvement of plasma technologies while supporting upgrades and modifications as the plasma systems evolve from laboratory-scale research towards pilot-scale applications.
