Outbound Shift Manager

This role is responsible for managing the distribution operations. Responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate distribution of our products and managing the distribution shift; optimising processes, ensuring timely deliveries, and fostering a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities Leading a team of Colleagues on the shift to ensure that the shift KPIs are met in full and on time. Engaging and developing the team to achieve optimum performance and for the Colleagues to meet their full potential. Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures in all distribution activities, including proper handling, storage, and shipping of meal kits to maintain product integrity. Continuously evaluate and enhance distribution processes to maximise efficiency, minimise errors, and streamline operations. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Ensure that all outgoing orders meet quality standards, performing regular audits and inspections to minimise errors and product damage. Role modelling the Company’s DNA and ensuring that these are followed by the team. Dealing with day to day queries from Colleagues – liaising with HR, Training Teams as required. Maintain up to date and accurate records (including computerised/digital) on production, food safety data and analyse this data to identify trends, problems and opportunities for improvement.
