About this role
Operate and maintain asphalt paving machines as part of an asphalt crew. You will prepare the machine for operation, control its movement, regulate work speed, perform routine maintenance, and identify and resolve mechanical issues. Work closely with the crew leader to ensure asphalt layers are laid according to schedule.
What you'll likely bring
- Full-time availability
- Experience working in asphalt paving crews
- Recognized roller operator diploma or willingness to obtain one
- Flexible scheduling for irregular hours including night and weekend shifts
- Knowledge of and commitment to traffic safety
- Valid driver's license
- Equipment certifications (preferred; must be obtained if lacking)
