Local Support Engineer

About this role
As a Local Support Engineer at Movares, you will be the primary IT contact for colleagues across regional office locations. You'll maintain infrastructure and systems uptime, troubleshoot diverse IT issues, and ensure workplaces, networks, and applications function smoothly. Working independently, you'll manage support tickets, coordinate with the service desk and other IT specialists, and bring structured problem-solving to your region.
What you'll likely bring
- Completed MBO-4 level IT qualification
- Minimum 2 years of IT support experience
- Knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server 2016 or higher
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Active Directory experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Intune
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving mindset and analytical ability
- Self-reliant and proactive approach
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
