About this role
Join Aveco de Bondt as a Junior Groundwater Advisor to work on urban water management projects across the Netherlands. You will support municipalities and water authorities in integrating groundwater management into urban environments, conduct research on groundwater-related issues such as flooding and drainage systems, develop groundwater system models, and provide technical advice on solutions. The role involves collaborating with colleagues and clients including local governments, provinces, water boards, contractors, and private parties. You will have opportunities to innovate and develop new research methods while growing into a specialist advisor.
What you'll likely bring
- Background or education in groundwater management, hydrogeology, civil engineering, or related field
- Ability to conduct technical research and analysis on groundwater systems
- Experience or willingness to learn groundwater modeling
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders including government agencies and private clients
