Garage Support Technician - Dundee

Ember is the UK's first all-electric coach company. We launched in October 2020 and are now running on fifteen routes – including Dundee to Glasgow, Inverness to Edinburgh and Edinburgh to Fort William – with several further routes launching in the early part of 2026. We are at advanced stages in developing new charging hubs in Livingston and Glasgow, with many more sites in the pipeline. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Garage Support Technician to join our electric bus maintenance team. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone with a practical background who is comfortable working in a busy workshop environment. You won't be expected to be a fully qualified mechanic, but you'll work closely alongside our team of technicians and play a vital part in keeping our zero-emission fleet on the road. The ideal candidate will be experienced, energetic and confident with the passion to stay on top of the latest developments in the electric vehicle market. This will be a Dundee-based role - but you’ll also be working closely with the teams in Aberdeen, Livingston and Inverness. We’ll make sure that you’re set up for success, with all necessary training, access to the right vehicle and all of the relevant tools and equipment.
