About this role
Responsible for the physical installation and integration of autonomy systems on heavy equipment. This role focuses on mechanical and electrical systems expertise, including wiring, power distribution, sensor mounting, and safety-critical integration. You will ensure systems are installed safely and reliably in real-world environments, diagnose installation issues, and develop standardized procedures that can be scaled across operations.
What you'll likely bring
- Hands-on experience with wiring harnesses and electrical termination on large machinery
- Proficiency installing compute systems, sensors, power systems, and mechanical mounts in harsh environments
- Knowledge of safety circuits, emergency stops, and lockout/tagout procedures
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot installation issues related to vibration, heat, dust, and mechanical strain
- Comfort working outdoors and on-site in challenging physical conditions
- Strong attention to safety, robustness, and serviceability in mechanical systems
