Driver Manager

Job Description As the North Island Driver Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of BeFresh New Zealand’s last-mile deliveries across the North Island. You will lead the onboarding, rostering, compliance, and ongoing supervision of drivers and delivery partners to ensure high standards are met. This role is based in Auckland (Penrose) and reports to the Associate Director Fulfilment .   You will… Oversee driver and contractor onboarding, training programs, and portal management. Manage driver allocations, week-over-week rostering, and daily operations monitoring. Ensure all drivers are properly licensed, certified, and compliant with delivery standards and transportation regulations. Oversee vehicle maintenance and compliance across the fleet. Manage driver incidents using existing internal tools and systems. Act as the Customer Care liaison overseer for all driver relations. Handle error management, operational communications, and oversee hardware/asset management (devices, equipment). Travel regionally to visit local depots and subcontractor drivers across the North Island. You have… Relationship management experience (preferred). Strong background in managing driver operations, logistics, or last-mile delivery workflows. Solid knowledge of applicable NZ transportation regulations.
