Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in developing and maintaining statistical and/or machine learning models within the insurance or financial sector Strong knowledge of Python and SQL Proven experience with data cleaning, feature engineering and predictive modeling Ability to work with large datasets and apply statistical and machine learning techniques for pricing and risk assessment Good English communication skills for collaboration across the Baltics, Latvian - native level knowledge Analytical mindset with creativity and curiosity to explore new approaches and solutions Ability to explain complex topics in a simple and understandable way Mēs Tev uzticēsim Developing and maintaining pricing models for insurance products such as MTPL, CASCO, property insurance, etc. Evaluating and interpreting A/B testing results and providing recommendations for data-driven decision-making Preparing and presenting analysis results in a simple and understandable way to various business teams Monitoring model performance and making necessary adjustments Exploring new analytical methods, tools, and technologies to enhance pricing and risk modeling capabilities
