About this role
Provide one-on-one support and care for a 14-year-old girl with severe developmental delays and complex medical needs at a residential care facility in Duizel. The role involves creating a calm, predictable environment and offering continuous presence to ensure stability and safety. The client experiences mood fluctuations and can exhibit self-injurious behavior, requiring patience and emotional regulation from the caregiver. Work includes assisting with daily activities and building a trusting relationship through consistent, regular contact.
What you'll likely bring
- Ability to remain calm and provide a stable, predictable approach in challenging situations
- Capacity for continuous one-on-one presence and attentiveness
- Willingness to work irregular shifts between 8:00 and 21:00, including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to regular availability (minimum once per week) to build trust and continuity of care
